2017 Color of the Year

The beginning of a new year means a fresh new color that we will start filling our closets and homes.  Pantone has released the 2017 color of the year and it is a lively green.

"Greenery is a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew. Illustrative of flourishing foliage and the lushness of the great outdoors, the fortifying attributes of Greenery signals consumers to take a deep breath, oxygenate and reinvigorate." says Pantone's website.

There are many ways we can see Greenery being used in homes. First of all why not start by adding a little live greenery in the kitchen or living room.  This will bring a touch of color to any space, not to mention the benefits of having live plants in your home.

As grays continue to hold strong as the neutrals in many homes; adding accessories, towels, placemats, candles and art with Greenery will pop out for a fun, vibrant, and fresh new look. Even rugs, pillows and throws will help you achieve this.

We look forward to seeing what ways we can add this color into our showroom, products and of course hearing how you are going to use it in your home.

Happy decorating!
